Dr. Piao is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in NY and NJ, holding a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Genetics with a diverse background in Eastern and Western medicine. With over 20 years of experience in medical and pharmaceutical research across institutions such as NYU Medical Center and establishments in China, Japan, and Korea, Dr. Piao brings a unique blend of traditional acupuncture, herbal medicine, genetic screening, and lifestyle counseling to her practice. Her experience in China, the birthplace of acupuncture, gives her a direct link to the traditions and history of Eastern Medicine—she is further equipped with fluency in Mandarin, allowing her to gather information from a variety of sources. 

Driven by a personal experience—losing her father due to delayed treatment of a curable condition—she transitioned to Eastern medicine to make a direct and immediate impact on patients' lives. Now, Dr. Piao is dedicated to providing exceptional care in pain management, acute and chronic illnesses, and more. Dr. Piao works closely with patients in managing and optimizing their health, providing personalized treatments and displaying meticulous care and commitment to each individual.
